Alexander H. McLucas – District Director, Kappa Theta Lambda, Teaneck, NJ
Brother Alexander H. McLucas has been a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. since fall 1989. He was initiated into the Omicron Zeta Chapter, chartered at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. Brother McLucas received his Bachelor of Arts degree while attending Fairleigh Dickinson University. Several years later, he went on to achieve his master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Brother McLucas was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey. Shortly after graduating from FDU, he started his professional career at Verizon Communication Inc, where he is currently in a management role serving the Essex County Area. Brother McLucas has been married for 15 years to Natasha McLucas and has two beautiful daughters, Shardae, and Lailani and one grandson, Amari.

Brother McLucas has always been actively engaged and invested in supporting principles and initiatives of the fraternity. At the college level, he served as President, Vice President, and Secretary. He is currently a member of the graduate chapter, Kappa Theta Lambda Chapter located in Bergen County, New Jersey where he serves as the Community Service Chair. He has also served as Alpha Advisor Chair for the undergraduate chapter he was initiated into, Omicron Zeta. Brother McLucas is continuing to accept the call once again to leadership now as the 13th District Director of New Jersey Association of Alpha Phi Alpha Chapters.

Brother McLucas is a dedicated community advocate and believes as distinguished men of Alpha, we are called to serve our communities on a daily basis. As District Director, one of his primary goals is to unite the Brothers in the great State of New Jersey to collectively work together through community activism and advancing the initiatives of our Fraternity’s National Programs.
